Dua When Entering the Home
Say this dua each time you enter your home to seek Allah's blessings and protection from Shaytan.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَلَجْنَا، وَبِسْمِ اللَّهِ خَرَجْنَا، وَعَلَى اللَّهِ رَبِّنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا
Bismillāhi walajnā, wa bismillāhi kharajnā, wa ʿalā Allāhi rabbinā tawakkalnā
In the name of Allah we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and upon our Lord we place our trust.
Saying Bismillah Upon Entering
Say 'Bismillah' when you enter your home for protection and remembrance of Allah.

Dua for Blessings and Protection in the Home
Recite this Qur'anic dua to ask Allah for goodness, mercy, and protection for yourself and your family.
رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَل لِّي مِن لَّدُنكَ سُلْطَانًا نَّصِيرًا
Rabbi adkhilnī mudkhala ṣidqin wa akhrijnī mukhraja ṣidqin wa-jʿal lī min ladunka sulṭānan naṣīrā
My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and to exit a sound exit and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority.
Dua for Greeting Your Family When Entering
When entering your home, greet your family with peace as taught by the Prophet ﷺ.
السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ
As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāh
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
