رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

Transliteration

Rabbi zidnī ‘ilmā.

TRANSLATION

My Lord, increase me in knowledge.

Dua for Ease and Removal of Difficulty

ARABIC

اللّٰهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلًا

Transliteration

Allāhumma lā sahla illā mā ja‘altahu sahlā wa anta taj‘alu al-ḥazna idhā shi’ta sahlā.

TRANSLATION

O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy, and You make the difficult easy if You will.

Dua for Success and Good Results

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:201)

ARABIC

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Transliteration

Rabbana ātinā fī al-dunyā ḥasanatan wa fī al-ākhirati ḥasanatan waqinā ‘adhāba an-nār.

TRANSLATION

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Dua for Confidence and Clarity in Speech

Surah Taha (20:25-28)

ARABIC

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي ﴿٢٥﴾ وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي ﴿٢٦﴾ وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِي ﴿٢٧﴾ يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي

Transliteration

Rabbi ishraḥ lī ṣadrī wa yassir lī amrī waḥlul ‘uqdatan min lisānī yafqahū qawlī.

TRANSLATION

My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance], and ease for me my task, and untie the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech.
