Dua When Entering the Graveyard
Recite this dua upon entering the cemetery to greet its residents and pray for their peace and forgiveness.
ูฑูุณููููุงู ู ุนูููููููู ู ุฃููููู ูฑูุฏููููุงุฑู ู ููู ูฑููู ูุคูู ูููููู ูููฑููู ูุณูููู ููููุ ููุฅููููุง ุฅูู ุดูุงุกู ูฑููููฐูู ุจูููู ู ููุงุญููููููุ ููุณูุฃููู ูฑููููฐูู ููููุง ููููููู ู ูฑููุนูุงููููุฉู
As-salฤmu สฟalaykum ahla ad-diyฤri mina al-muโminฤซna wa-l-muslimฤซn, wa innฤ in shฤโa Allฤhu bikum lฤแธฅiqลซna, nasโalu Allฤha lanฤ wa lakumu al-สฟฤfiyah.
Peace be upon you, O inhabitants of the dwellings, among the believers and Muslims. Indeed, we will, if Allah wills, be joining you. We ask Allah for well-being for us and for you.
Dua Asking Forgiveness for the Deceased
This supplication seeks forgiveness for those buried in the cemetery.

Allฤhumma ighfir lahum warแธฅamhum wa สฟฤfihim waสฟfu สฟanhum.
O Allah, forgive them, have mercy on them, grant them peace, and pardon them.

Allahummaghfir lihayyina wa mayyitina, wa shahidina wa ghaโibina, wa saghirina wa kabirina, wa dhakarina wa unthana. Allahumma man ahyaitahu minna fa'ahyihi โalal-Islam, wa man tawaffaytahu minna fa tawaffahu โalal- iman. Allahumma la tahrimna ajrahu wa la tudillana baโdah.
O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those who are present and those who are absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whomever of us You cause to live, let him live in Islam, and whomever of us You cause to die, let him die in (a state of) faith. O Allah, do not deprive us of his reward, and do not let us go astray after him.
