Dua for Relief From Illness

The Prophet ﷺ used this supplication for healing and relief from pain or sickness.

ARABIC

أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

Transliteration

Adhhibi’l-ba’sa Rabban-nās, ishfi anta ash-shāfī, lā shifā’a illā shifā’uk, shifā’an lā yughadiru saqaman.

TRANSLATION

Remove the harm, O Lord of mankind, and heal. You are the Healer. There is no healing except Your healing. A healing that leaves no disease behind.

Dua for Recovery and Mercy

Transliteration

Allāhumma Rabb an-nās, mudhhiba al-ba’s, ishfi anta ash-shāfī, lā shāfiya illā anta, shifā’an lā yughadiru saqaman.

TRANSLATION

O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm and heal. You are the Healer. There is no healing but Yours, a healing that leaves no illness behind.

Dua for Patience and Forgiveness During Sickness

Rabbana ighfir lanā dhunūbanā wa kaffir 'annā sayyi'ātinā wa tawaffanā ma'a al-abrār.

Our Lord, forgive us our sins, and remove from us our misdeeds, and cause us to die with the righteous.
