Dua Before Beginning Intimacy
Recite this dua before intercourse to seek Allah’s protection from Shaytan and harm for any children.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنَا الشَّيْطَانَ، وَجَنِّبْ الشَّيْطَانَ مَا رَزَقْتَنَا
Bismillāh, Allāhumma jannibnash-shayṭāna, wa jannibish-shayṭāna mā razaqtanā.
In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep Shaytan away from us and keep Shaytan away from what You grant us (of offspring).
Dua for Matrimonial Harmony
Ask Allah for love, blessing, and harmony with your spouse, especially when beginning a new chapter together.
رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا
Rabbanā hab lanā min azwājinā wa dhurriyyātinā qurrata a‘yunin waj‘alnā lil-muttaqīna imāmā.
Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.
Dua for Good Offspring
Pray for righteous and blessed children resulting from your union.
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Rabbi hab lī minaṣ-ṣāliḥīn.
My Lord, grant me [offspring] from among the righteous.
Dua for Protection from Harm
Seek refuge in Allah from anything harmful, including during moments of intimacy.
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
A‘ūdhu bikalimātillāhit-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq.
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
