Dua for Forgiveness and Mercy

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ frequently recited this dua seeking forgiveness and mercy for the deceased.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ

Allahumma ighfir lahu warhamhu wa 'aafihi wa'fu 'anhu

O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, grant him well-being, and pardon him.
